At first, I thought 3 a.m. was one of those books which are full of teenage angst, puppy love and school dramas, but I was wrong. Dallas writes stories about people, love and life that are highly-entertaining, inspiring and, sometimes, thought-provoking. She cleverly inserts an appropriate amount of humour in her stories, making them more lively and enjoyable. These stories proved Dallas' gift and prowess in writing. My favourite story in this book is "The 74-Year-Old Rookie", from which I learned that win or lose is not the most important thing while playing a game, but rather the pure enjoyment of playing itself. Do pick up this book if you haven't done so, because this book is awesome!
